We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Technician to join our team.
As a Safety Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and promote compliance with OSHA regulations.
Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards - Develop and implement safety policies, programs, and training materials - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions - Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving safety performance - Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities - Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements - Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and procedures - Ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization - Excellent risk management skills to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls - Knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) principles and practices - Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards related to safety - Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety-related activities - Experience in construction management is preferred but not required - Solid understanding of occupational health principles and practices - Strong compliance management skills to ensure adherence to safety regulations If you are a dedicated Safety Technician with a passion for promoting workplace safety, we encourage you to apply.
